Did a quick but dramatic photoshoot with my favorite gals today. We sorta mixed 1920's vibes with spooky tarot cards and candles.. I quite like the result!! And before anyone asks, the prism effect is done by a filter for my camera that I got at a used camera store!! Sorry, I wish I could be more helpful when I'm asked about it. M.I.A. ( மாதங்கி 'மாயா' அருள்பிரகாசம்) is inspiring to me on so many levels. She's bad ass, inspires me not to give a what-what and she is a fierce fashion babe. She is also a humanitarian and an out-spoken WoC and in virtue of who she is, what she says and how she says it - I reckon M.I.A. is a rad human-being and someone that I greatly admire. 

JOYRICH released this line in collaboration with The Simpsons for winter 2012 and it is literally....the most perfect....anything...i've ever...seen......It was Japan release only....heart....broken.... look:

Jessica and I have an exam today in our class on Political Philosophy...but instead of spending yesterday studying as intended...we played dress-up and took photos in my front yard. Vanity as self-care. Vanity as time-wasting. Vanity 4ever. Jessica is wearing my dress! From Topshop. The faux fur is thrifted, but the brand is George which makes me think it's originally from Walmart? Amazing..  My jacket is thrifted... it was part of a rad pant suit. The dress is Topshop.
