ghost of halloween past

Idk what year this was or how old we were but my witch costumes (plural cause I went as a witch ALMOST as many times as I went as a ghost) were the best check out those press-ons. Also my sister is a dinosaur and my brother a ninja. So much gold.


I was in 10th grade here, and had just turned 16, i don't know what i was supposed to be..a zombie maybe?
 In grade 12 Tyler and I were dating and it was our first halloween and we went as Bonnie and Clyde
This was two halloweens ago...I was in second year university, Tyler and I went as Travis Bickle and Betsy from Taxi Driver...cause it's my favorite movie and because Travis is creepily obsessed with Betsy so it seemed fitting (hehehe)
Last year Tyler and my costumes were ON POINT. We had two parties to go to on two nights so for the first party we went as Fry and Leela from Futurama

Then as Wendy and Jack Torrance from The Shining.

 I realize there a lot of years missing....but I can't seem to find any photos OR remember what I went as? But I know I haven't gone a single year without dressing up for Halloween.

    SO GOLDEN. i feel like all couples at one point HAVE to go as bonnie and clyde for halloween, haha. can't wait to see your costume for this year :3

    couple costumes are so cool wth. i have no idea what to be for halloween this yr it's stressing me out! my friend molly is going as enid from ghost world and i might go as rebecca but her costume isn't as fun so prly not. idk. might go as coraline. anyhow, you look cute/badass. i was also a witch for like 7 years str8 as a kid so no worries.

      i was actually thinking of being greta the gremlin for halloween hmmmm i'm gonna make a blogspot post about potential costumes so we'll see, i'm thinkin' bout it real hard atm.

      I just printed it onto normal printer paper from the internet and taped it on a jacket I already owned :'D

on sex work

I'd like to first point out that these are just my opinions, and that they are coming from a place of solidarity and not of experience. I am not trying to speak for sex-workers - I am only trying to start a conversation! I think it's necessary to actively think about these things in order to make any real shift in consciousness. Sex Work is Real Work We are constantly bombarded with the message that sex workers are troubled. Watching day-time television I have witnessed Dr. Phil repeatedly demonize sex work and those who participate in it. It’s dirty, and dangerous; they must have suffered as a child or lacked a fatherly figure. The two-dimensional stereotype attached to sex-work is ignorant and perpetuates a culture of violence against innocent people who are just doing their job (which there is and likely always will be a market for, I might add).
