So I dyed my hair again. Suprise! I get bored very easily... but y'all knew that. From the back you can really see how green the roots are!  Today, Tyler and I went to pet some alpacas because why the hell not!! Animals make me feel so happy. I love Yorkshire for being so full of farms! Look at their funny tails and legs just...let me...touch you... This pony is so stubby i can't stop laughing

I'm using a lens filter I picked up in a used camera store in Chicago a couple years ago People sometimes ask me why I don't wear contact lenses. I've never tried them, and might like them but the reason is simple: When I wear my glasses, I feel more confident. Not only because I can see what's in front of me. They act as armor, and I feel stronger as a result of them. Fashion can be powerful. I also get a lot of compliments from strangers on these frames (they're Miu Miu) which is nice because I'm shy and find it hard to strike up conversations with people.  I haven't been wearing a lot of make up lately, have been feeling very uninspired. So today I thought I'd try something new by doing my shadow all the way up to my eyebrow. I'm pretty into it. My eyeshadow is MAC pigment in heritage rouge and reigning riches, lipstick is revlon's pink in the afternoon

life update: I got my haircut yesterday, was left feeling like I look like Matilda (in a bad way). But now that I can style it myself, I like it more. School is unsurprisingly stressful. I'm trying to piece together a PhD proposal about institutional oppression and the morality between social groups and falling behind on my other commitments. I just got offered a really great job though, being a contributing vlogger for EverydayFeminism.com!! I'm in the process of starting that, so more videos soon! Also it's warm out finally. I ate some matcha green tea icecream today. I'm wearing a shirt: Monki (duh), blazer also from Monki, pants: ASOS, shoes: Nike backpack is from JumpFromPaper :) I diluted Special Effects Deep Purple dye with conditioner to get this color. It's really bright irl.

This was the first time I dyed my hair a color other than blonde/brown/black/red (all of which I'd done before). I went for the safest color there is for a blonde - lilac. Since then I've dabbled in almost every shade of the color wheel. This is far from every color, but it is a range of where I've been! Shades of blue  All of these blues are by Sara at Salon Cyan  Grey The grey above and on the left below are by a friend Toni, the other grey is by Sara Greens and Teals I did this green myself, same with the two below (using Directions and Punk Color dye) This last green is by Sara Pinks and Purples first one by Sara, the rest by me (I forget most of the dyes, but I recommend diluted Deep Purple by SpFX) Oranges and Yellows     the left by Sara, the right by me (Directions dye in Apricot)
